Research project “Aporophobia and criminal law” El proyecto de investigación “Aporofobia y Derecho Penal” announces the second congress to be held n April 20-22, 2021 at the University of Deusto (online format).

This international congress, titled “Aporophobia and Criminal Law in the Social State” is framed of the research project “Towards a model of social justice: political-criminal alternatives”, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Government of Spain (Ref. RTI2018-095155-A-C22), which principal investigator is the professor doctor Demelsa Benito Sánchez. This is part of the coordinated project “Aporophobia and Criminal Law” (Ref, RTI2018-095155-B-C21), whose main researcher is the professor doctor Ana Isabel Pérez Cepeda.

In this congress we will have experts on the subject such as the professor doctor Ana Isabel Pérez Cepeda (University of Salamanca) who will open the Congress with her conference called “Crime Theory and the Social State” or the professor doctor Ignacio Berdugo Gómez de la Torre (University of Salamanca ) which will deal with “Development Policies vs. Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Environment” in the closing conference.
